How to change your party affiliation on your voter registration
To change your party affiliation: Please complete the Political Party Affiliation Change From. The completed form can be emailed, mailed or complete the form at the County Clerk’s Office.
*Changing your political party affiliation will NOT affect how you get to vote. Missouri allows you to choose any political party ballot you would like in a Primary Election, no matter what political party you have registered with in our system. It is not a requirement by law to be registered with a political party, it is OPTIONAL for each voter.*
When to change your address or name on the voter registration card?
The best time to change your personal information is BEFORE Election Day. If you move within the boundaries of Christian County you can change your name or address anytime with the County Clerk’s Office. Election Day is the busiest day to make changes to your voter registration resulting in more time at the polling location.
If you move to another County, you will need to register in the new County. By Missouri law, you must be registered to vote in the jurisdiction where you reside.
